Our fifth Inc. 5000 appearance reflects more than a decade of innovation and a transformation made possible by people.
More than 80,000 of our systems are at work across five continents and more than 40 countries through direct installations and OEM partnerships. They support mission-critical operations where reliability, efficiency and uptime are essential, from marine and oil & gas to data centers, mobile and industrial power, utilities and microgrids.
That global footprint looks very different from where we were when we first earned a place on the Inc. 5000 in 2014. Originally recognized for rugged automation technologies for marine and oil & gas applications, we have evolved into a global provider of mission-critical power conversion technologies.
We have now been named to the 2026 Inc. 5000 list, marking our fifth appearance among America’s fastest-growing private companies. The recognition validates a transformation more than a decade in the making, but the real story is the people who made it possible.
A Transformation Built to Meet New Demands
Our earliest technologies were engineered for demanding marine and oil & gas applications. That experience established a foundation in dependable motor control, power conversion and automation, capabilities that became increasingly valuable as customers across other industries faced more complex power challenges.
Today, we design and manufacture integrated systems for marine and offshore operations, oil & gas production, high-reliability data center power architecture, mobile and industrial power, utilities and microgrids. While our markets have broadened, the core promise remains the same: engineer technology that performs when the stakes are high.
When we introduced the SPOC Energy name in 2026, we made that evolution visible. The unified identity reflects our broader role in the global energy landscape and the expanding ways our technologies help customers manage, convert and control power.
The Power Behind the Progress
Technology is central to what we build. People are the reason we continue to move forward.
Our Lift Up culture is grounded in a simple belief: people do their best work when they support one another. Across engineering, manufacturing, service and business teams, that means sharing ideas, developing talent, showing up on hard days and treating customers like neighbors.
“Five appearances on the Inc. 5000 and I’ll tell you the same thing I said after the first one: this isn’t about charts. It’s about people,” said Robert L. Mason, CEO of SPOC Energy. “Awards can measure performance, but they can’t measure what causes it. What causes it is people who care for each other, show up on the hard days, lift each other up and treat every customer like a neighbor. This recognition belongs to the men and women of SPOC. They earned it.”
Customer Trust That Travels Across Industries
The same people-first commitment extends to every customer relationship. Our customers operate in environments where power-system performance can directly affect productivity, safety and business continuity. They need more than equipment. They need responsive teams who understand their operations, solve difficult problems and remain engaged well beyond installation.
That trust has helped us carry proven engineering into new applications and geographies. Every deployed system represents a customer challenge met with an engineered solution, and a relationship that helped shape what we became next.
“Our markets and technologies have evolved significantly, but the foundation of this company has not changed,” Mason added. “We are still focused on building technology that helps our customers win, creating opportunities for our people and lifting up the communities around us.”
Five Inc. 5000 Appearances, One Continuing Story
Recognition in 2014, 2015, 2020, 2024 and 2026 spans more than a decade of our evolution. Because each annual ranking reflects revenue growth over a three-year period, returning to the list demonstrates our ability to sustain performance through different stages of the business and changing market conditions.
We were also named to the Inc. Best Workplaces list in 2020, recognizing the culture that has long supported our performance. Taken together, these honors do not define our story. They provide outside confirmation that our people-led approach has produced durable results through changing markets and new opportunities.
Powering What Comes Next
Demand for reliable, efficient and resilient power is accelerating. Marine and oil & gas operators are modernizing critical systems. Data center infrastructure is scaling to support AI-driven technologies. Utilities, industrial operators and mobile applications all require smarter ways to manage increasingly complex power needs.
We are prepared for that future because transformation is already part of our history. We will continue investing in people, engineering and integrated technologies that help customers operate with greater confidence.
This recognition is a meaningful milestone. More importantly, it reflects what happens when people care for one another, earn customer trust and keep building toward what comes next.
